Total Thermal Shield (TTS) is an insulating membrane with high-vacuum microceramic particles and nanostructured titanium dioxide. When applied to a surface, it reflects infrared rays, providing excellent thermal insulation, waterproofing, anti-condensation, and fire resistance. Easy to apply and environmentally friendly, TTS can theoretically reduce a home's heating and air conditioning costs by up to 30-50%.
CHARACTERISTICS
It is presented as a thick liquid material, formed by spherical ceramic microgranules with high vacuum (microspheres with a diameter of between 20 and 40 microns and 10 micron filler granules) that, once dry, covers any surface uniformly, forming a continuous layer without joints, flexible and without cracks, which with a thickness of 0.5 to 0.6 mm, provides multiple properties in addition to allowing the substrate to breathe:
- Excellent thermal insulator (hot/cold), as it reflects infrared rays.
- High waterproofing and anti-condensation capacity.
- Fire resistant: does not spread fire, non-combustible once applied and dry.
- High adhesion on any type of surface and impact resistant.
- Properties as an acoustic insulator.
- Eliminates bacteria, fungi, molds and odors due to its photocatalytic capacity.
- It accelerates the production of negative ions, which are beneficial to health.
- Its properties last 15 to 20 years outdoors.
APPLICATIONS
It can be applied both outdoors and indoors on any commonly used construction material: concrete, mortar, brick, slate, tile, fiber cement, plasterboard, stone, tile, iron, steel, aluminum, galvanized sheet metal, glass, wood, etc.
- Thermal insulation of buildings, both exterior and interior, and insulation of industrial buildings.
- Interior insulation, preventing heat loss (cold climates).
- Health protection for buildings with special health requirements: hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, schools, etc.
- Indoor application to improve negative ion balance: provides a feeling of comfort, strengthens the immune system, and is beneficial for allergy and asthma sufferers.
