- The cobalt HSS twist drill is manufactured according to DIN 338. It is type N (flute angle) with a 135 degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8. The pointed split tip facilitates active cutting and perfect centering without displacement.
- The drill bit can be used with steel and steel alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel and acid and heat resistant steels.
- It has a cylindrical shank system (with insert shank of the same diameter as the drill bit) and is intended for use with hand and table drills.
