Total Thermal Shield (ETT) is an insulating membrane with high-vacuum microceramic particles and nanostructured titanium dioxide, which applied to a surface reflects infrared rays, providing excellent qualities such as thermal insulation, waterproofing, anti-condensation and fire resistance. Simple to apply and environmentally friendly, ETT can theoretically reduce a home's heating and air conditioning costs by up to 30 - 50%.
CHARACTERISTICS
It comes as a thick liquid material, formed by spherical ceramic microgranules with high vacuum (microspheres with a diameter of between 20 and 40 microns and filler granules of 10 microns) that, once dry, covers any surface uniformly, forming a layer continuous and without splices, flexible and without cracks, which with a thickness of 0.5 to 0.6 mm, provides multiple properties in addition to allowing the substrate to breathe:
- Excellent thermal insulator (hot/cold), as it reflects infrared rays.
- High waterproofing and anti-condensation capacity.
- Fire resistant: does not spread fire, non-combustible once applied and dry.
- High adhesion on any type of surface and resistant to impacts.
- Acoustic insulating properties.
- Eliminates bacteria, fungi, molds and odors due to its photocatalytic capacity.
- Accelerates the production of negative ions, beneficial for health.
- Its properties are maintained for 15 to 20 years outdoors.
APPLICATIONS
It can be applied both outdoors and indoors on any material commonly used in construction: concrete, mortar, brick, slate, tile, fiber cement, plasterboard, stone, tile, iron, steel, aluminum, galvanized sheet, glass, wood, etc
- Thermal insulation of exterior and interior buildings, insulation of industrial warehouses.
- Interior insulation, avoiding heat loss (cold climates).
- Health protection of buildings with special health requirements: hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, schools, etc.
- Indoor application to improve the balance of negative ions: feeling of comfort, strengthening the immune system, beneficial for allergic or asthmatic people.
- Interior and/or exterior thermal insulation for prefabricated houses, prefabricated buildings in general, buildings, houses, chalets, etc.
- Thermal insulation of agricultural and livestock farms with bio-healthy effects for livestock.
- Insulation of data processing centers and other facilities that require overheating to be avoided.
- Insulation of tanks or liquid pipes.
- Coating of asphalt and uralite fabrics.
- The application of ETT on roofs with photovoltaic panels increases their performance by approximately 5%, as the photovoltaic cells capture a part of the reflected light.
